Theatrе practice at the end of the 90’s

The publication includes key-note addresses and shortened versions of the discussions from the 3-day seminar “Theatre practice at the end of the 90’s” with the participation of Bulgarian theatre critics, directors and guests of the Varna Summer International Theatre Festival 1999. It also publishes four articles provoked by the seminar. The aim of the edition is to contribute to the reflection on Bulgarian theatre during the first decade of the countries’ democratic transition with a mosaic of perspectives, capturing part of the critical account of researchers and artists at that time.
