Post theater is an interdisciplinary performing arts unit without an ensemble which was founded 1999 in New York. “Express Fight Club” is a performance with 30 anonymous performers with a media-guided theater-choreography. It is a performance on the question how and by what identity is generated. The novel and movie “Fight Club” (Chuck Palahniuk / David Fincher) are important for the project with the sources’ idea of forming a subversive group and with the urge to find alternatives to the every-day life in the consumer society. The project debates the relationship between work and spare time and how they facilitate the construction of identity.
