“Monocrossing” is a dance performance in which the characters pass through different virtual spaces and challenges in the quest of what will help them realize their lives’ mission. The performers are in constant interaction with a multi-media environment that reacts to their movements and builds up a puzzle of the voyage to their final end. Derida Dance company works with the aim to open up Bulgarian cultural space by attracting artists from Europe and Asia for joint projects. In “Monocrossing” they have joined efforts with the Central European Centre in Budapest and present Jungin Lee from South Korea and Marianne Hargitay who was nominated for Hungary’s best performer for the year 2012. The production is on tour with the support of Art in Motion Programme initiated by Art Office Foundation and America for Bulgaria Foundation.
