In his talk, the world famous theatre researcher prof. Patrice Pavis (France) will scrutinize contemporary directions in the performance analysis that have emerged after the formal, neutral, non-historical semiotic approach. What comes after it? Prof. Pavis will comment on strategies based on feminism, gender, identity, the question of age, cancel culture, race and postcolonial theory.

Prof. Patrice Pavis an internationally renowned theater scholar. He has written extensively on performance, theatre and text theory. He is the author and editor of many significant books and readers, including A Dictionary of Theatre (1987), The Analysis of Dramatic Texts (2003), The Analysis of Performances (2005), Contemporary Staging (2007) among others.
