“The Wind Garden” is a reminiscence of those Modernist Gardens inhabited by nostalgic, characters who feel empty and alienated and whom residents of fast and anxious cities sometimes feel so identified with. The colorful and attractive Spanish street theatre company “Cal y Canto Teatro” combines kites and aerial elements with the forms depicted by Art Nouveau and Modernism.
Since 2002, its founding members, Ana Ortega and Marcos Castro, have kept working in the development of street arts, object theatre and puppetry and their productions have a very personal style.
