“Thumbellina” is a performance without words, conceived as a musical journey n the world of H. Ch. Andersen. The grotesque reality of the life of the street, that surrounds the young student, flows into the poetic world of the fantasy. Amidst the leaves of the flower, that has brought to life one of the most tender and fragile creatures of the fairy-tale world, come across the Good and the Evil, the Beautiful and the Ugly, the Funny and the Sad, the Real and the Unreachable. Visually compelling, emotionally charged and wise performance for kids and elders. It is the first work of Vera Stoikova as director, an actress at State Puppet Theatre – Varna.
