“With a Light Step…” is a collection of 13 funny short stories in a tragicomic mix. Inspired by the works of the Israeli absurdist author Hanoch Levin the director Boian Ivanov builds up a comic narrative about the expectation of happiness and the charcaters’ confidence about how it should inevitably happen to them. This is his third project with Varna’s Puppet Theatre company. In it he is eager to show a more optimistic reading of Levin’s works rather than their dark, sarcastic side.
