The dance installation “Hack” is the first artistic product of the first centre for contemporary dance in Bulgaria – Derida Dance Centre. It was found in 2010 as a private initiative by the choreographer Zhivko Zhelyazkov and the art manager Atanas Maev. “Hack” refers to the disrupting of a certain structure or a system, by breaking up its most secret codes. The choreographer and the dancer explore the process of continuous interaction between the body and the space, between the man and the surroundings and the constant mutual tuning of functions and behaviour. A very interesting dance trip that evokes a lot of associations and calls for the participation of the audience.
