“medea” happens in a devastated world populated by phantom images resounding the echo of the myth. A world of relics where the body is an image of the crisis, at the point where the memories of its programmed corporeality intersects with the point of its effacement. The performance bears an eccentric sense of movement and form in space created by the encounter between the sculptor Nikola Borisov who takes part as a performer and the young dancer Miroslava Zahova. Miroslav Yordanov is an artist and psychologist by education. He works under a long-term project for chamber performances in the field of contemporary dance and physical theatre, of which “VOID,” “Ecorche” and others have been presented at ITF “Varna Summer”. The production is on tour with the support of Art in Motion Programme initiated by Art Office Foundation and America for Bulgaria Foundation.
