Georgi Gospodinov (b.1968) is the most successful contemporary Bulgarian poet and writer, winner of many awards for literature, editor at “Literaturen vestnik” (“Literature Newspaper”) and editor for Bulgaria at the Oxford literature magazine “Orient Express”. His “Natural Novel” and the collection “And Other Stories” have been translated into many languages and are gaining international recognition. “D.J.” is his debut play that won the UBA’s 2004 award for best theatre text.
