“SKINS” aims to translate in the language of dance a sensory feeling and a poetic vision of the quest for intimacy: “Demand intimacy as holding out a sweat hand. I can not help holding the hand, but I pour cold sweat due to the instant inconvenient contact. Soon, I close my eyes.” What we get is a highly charged, feverous and very precise choreography, as if the skin of the body has turned inside out.
“SKINS” is a dance miniature by the young but already recognized choreographer Jung In Lee who is known to the Bulgarian audience by her participation in productions of Sofia based Derida Dance Company. She is part of the Showcase programme as close associate of Bulgarian dance scene and in the context of the festival’s focus on performing arts in Asia.
