THEATRE – TOPOGRAPHY OF MEMORIES
Selector: Aglika Stefanova, theatre critic
Every spectator who loves theatre keeps a memory of the beginning of this love… The aim of a festival is to recall forgotten motivations and to create new ones, to bring back to life the memory of that superb theatre, which every spectator dreams to remember and seeks each theatre evening… For that reason my selection is going to draw out an actual map of those acknowledged or still conflicting views of theatre which possess the quality of taking the audience back to its first (superb) memories of this art form and at the same time make it dream. This is a topography of the living theatre that is always in search (of answers, audiences, challenges, horizon and limit).
