THE PERFORMANCE AS A MEETING

The performance is a meeting of people of different professions – authors, directors, actors, artists, musicians…; with different capacities and energies; with different aesthetic predilections and tastes. In this multitude of meetings a very important for the life of the performance next meeting is getting prepared – the one with the spectator. Regardless whether it is merry, sad, amusing or speculative, it has to provoke, to get the spectator out of the comfort/ discomfort of everyday life. In this sense the selection outlines those performances that are result of productive creative contacts and have the potential to be a memorable event-meeting for the festival spectator.
